Base is a 7 Mindsets product solution and abides by COPPA, FERPA, HIPAA, and maintains Soc2 compliance. Base is bound by federal and state laws, so there are a limited number of situations in which they would be legally compelled to share student data: upon signed consent by a student’s parent or legal guardian, upon court order, or if compelled by other, unforeseen, legal obligations to do so.
Data provided to school/district
BASE provides student usage and progress at the individual, district, and school level. They also provide a full-scale, research-validated screener to measure student growth at the individual, school, and district-level, as well as the ability to compare scores across all global users.
