Clayful enhances mental health support for students with on-demand and weekly performance coaching by connecting them to a human coach on a device within 60 seconds. Clayful helps schools identify students in crisis and support those who are dysregulated to decrease behavioral challenges.

Impact

Clayful conducted an ESSA Level II and III study, found here, with Learn Platform to assess its impact on grades 6-12 attendance and disciplinary outcomes. Clayful students gained one extra week of instructional time over a standard 180-day school year compared to non-users.

Privacy & Safety

Clayful is FERPA and COPPA compliant. Operating as a "school official" under FERPA, Clayful obtains student information through agreements with schools, using it only with the consent of schools and/or guardians. Clayful does not sell, license, or rent any student's personal information, prioritizing the privacy and security of student data. 

Data provided to school/district

Clayful shares aggregate usage data with school districts, emphasizing the impact on specific demographics of students. For instance, 45% of chats typically come from boys. Clayful can analyze data for a district's specific needs, such as focusing on the issues 8th-grade girls face to then support the district in creating a holistic approach to support their needs.
