Impact

A study with the American Heart Association yielded promising results. Notably, students who used Clymb were less likely to fear violence at school. Students who used Clymb also had improved self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills, which are the key competencies of social-emotional learning. 

Privacy & Safety

Clymb has security measures in place to protect sensitive educational data and ensure the integrity of their software. Clymb is using AWS web hosting and holds cyber-liability insurance. They are using the AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding algorithm for encryption. The only Cookie they use is the “Lang” Cookie to store the user’s selected language.

Data provided to school/district

Within the teacher/counselor dashboard, utilization metrics are sortable by date, and a running log of student check-ins. Information is available regarding appreciation logs, journal entries, mood check-ins, and SEL competency scores over time. The school administrator dashboard offers the same data by class or school aggregate.
